• I'm speaking as part of Bryant University's Communication Department speaker series on April 17th.

• The cover for MODELS is finished!! What do you think?

• BEAUTY BINGE has been retitled: MODELS DON'T EAT CHOCOLATE COOKIES is now in the copyediting stage, and cover design meetings begin soon.

• Sally sold my first novel! BEAUTY BINGE (current title) will be released in spring of 2009 as part of Penguin/Putnam's Dial Books for Young Readers imprint. Dial also purchased a second, untitled novel from me, with an option for a third! I'm beyond excited--this is a dream come true for me.

• I'm writing for Discovery Girls magazine! My first article will appear in their October/November issue.

•For some thought-provoking reading, visit Bread & Circus, an online culture blog that I co-edit.

• Sally Harding, of The Cooke Agency, represents my writing. She's awesome and I'm lucky to work with her.

• I co-coordinate a reading series with poet January G. O'Neil in Arlington, Mass, called NEWS (New & Emerging Writers Series). We're on hiatus for the summer, but check out our website for our fall dates.
